每年8月至9月的金針花季，六十山可以看到整片的金針花海。來到花蓮上山一路九彎十八拐前往六十石山，開車前來要留意路有點小又顛坡，可斟酌車況適合不適合上山。
山上很舒服，一片翠綠搭上一點一點的橘，周遭的餐廳也料理著很多特色金針花料理，涼拌金針花、金針花香腸、金針花冰棒，值得全部體驗，試試特別的味道和口感。
