about Taroko Gorge Shared Tour

Taroko Gorge, renowned as the largest marble gorge in the world, should not be missed on any visit to Taiwan.     1. Generally, the group size is 4 to 6 people in a 9-seater van. But sometimes it is 20-seater minibus. Lunch is not included in this tour. We will stop by the restaurant of Tianxiang Youth Activity Centre at lunch time, however, it’s up to you whether you want to have lunch there or not. A few nearby restaurants are alternatives.
    2. If you travel from Taipei City, you may take TRA train No.402, departing at 06:20 and reaching Hualien City at 08:20. The ticket price is TWD440 per person. However, sometimes train tickets to or from Hualien are fully booked soon, especially on a weekend or holidays. Please try to book it online in advance. (Train tickets are open for booking online 14 days before your departure date.)
    3. The availability of trails in Taroko are subject to change due to the weather condition and risk of falling rocks. roundTAIWANround has the right to change the itinerary due to availability and safety issue.
