Plastic brick toys are an important part of childhood, helping children learn and develop, as well as entertaining them. In Asia, the very first museum housing a collection of creative brick-based artworks was set up in Yilan. From Mona Lisa to Iron Man and Minions, these pieces of creativity will delight children and adults alike.

Brick Art Museum started life in early 2016, right across from the Yilan County Government. To ensure the quality of everyone’s visit, reservations are required. Two of the museum’s most famous works of art are not to be missed: Nathan Sawaya’s “Pearl Milk Tea” (you can even move the lid!) and the fourteen-meter-long replica of “Along the River During the Qingming Festival,” which is the world’s longest plastic brick structure ever created, with 60,000 individual pieces. Here at Brick Art Museum, you will learn about the vast world of LEGO building while appreciating these masterpieces all rendered in interlocking bricks.
