Reach For Stars Revolving Restaurant

Reach For the Stars Revolving Restaurant is situated on the chimney of the Beitou Incinerator. At a height of 120 meters (approximately 40 floors), it is the first revolving restaurant to be built on a chimney in the world. The whole restaurant revolves at the speed of 90 minutes a round. Sitting inside, you can easily appreciate the panorama of Taipei City, as well as the natural landscape of Tamsui River, Guanyinshan and Yangmingshan. When the sky is clear, you can even see the Taipei 101 skyscraper on the other side of the city. Meals served here primarily consist of western cuisine, including chicken schnitzel, pork chops, fish, and steak. You can also find vegetarian meals and kid’s meals on the menu. Prices range from TWD700 to TWD1500. At meal times, there is live music offered to guests and if you want to choose a song to impress your friends, you can write the name of your choice on paper provided. There is nothing particularly special about the food served here so we recommend afternoon tea as a cheaper choice that still allows you to enjoy the novelty and view of the revolving restaurant.
