Kuo Yuan Ye is a Taiwanese chain of pâtisseries that specialize in traditional pastries, with recipes that have been passed down from one generation to another. Born out of the sheer popularity of the brand itself, Kuo Yuan Ye Museum of Cake and Pastry in Taoyuan is a favorite destination for families with young children who want to give the little ones a chance to learn, explore, interact, and have a blast all at the same time. The museum was designed to be as sustainable and environmentally-friendly as possible yet still has a very modern look to it.

All visitors regardless of age get to experience the hands-on activities that allow them to make their own cakes and pastries during the visit as long as they book their spots in advance. If your home is short of baking equipment, why not pay a visit to Kuo Yuan Ye Museum of Cake and Pastry and see if you have what it takes to become a decent pâtissier or pastry chef. The admission fee (TWD50 per person) can be applied to purchases during your visit — very good value for what you get to see and experience.
