Attraction stories

Life is a drama. We can never predict the next move. All we can to is to find the goal and sail along the change of life. Taiwan is like a ship sailing in the ocean. There are aborigines, Dutch, Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese getting on board throughout the time. The mix of all cultures brings us to the journey in the future. Although Taipei Eye focused on the traditional drama art of Chinese culture, they spend a lot of effort to transform the art into the next form. In the 90 minutes show, you can see Peking Opera, traditional acrobatics, local music, aboriginal dance, and Taiwanese Opera. There are several elements of martial art, puppet show, and Kunqu Opera. Another special part is that you can interact with the performers before and after the show and in the recess time. You can take your cameras to take picture without people stopping you. There are also subtitles in Chinese, Japanese, English, and Korean, so you don’t have to worry that you will sit through the show with lots of questions on your head. This is actually a precious change for Taipei Eye is a century old organization. The owner Mr. Gu bought an old theater and renovated it into the ‘New Stage in Taiwan’, inviting Peking Opera groups from Shanghai and Fujien to co-work with the local Taiwanese opera team. During the war, the place was completely destroyed. Not until 1989, the organization was reborn by the hands of Gu’s family. In 2002, Taipei eye was born to succeed the heritage at the current location. Just get in to experience the life of our journey in an hour time.
