PS Tapas

Strolling in the East District of Taipei is always an adventure, where unique boutiques and restaurants are ready to surprise you, and PS TAPAS is one of them. Along with another branch near Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall station, PS TAPAS is hidden on the side street of Anhe Road and greets you with its dark signboard and a solid black front door. If you don’t keep your eyes peeled, you might just walk past the restaurant without even noticing it.

Billing itself as a bistro, PS TAPAS creates cellar-like interiors with red brick walls and cabinets that disguise themselves as casks. The newspaper-themed menu gives you an idea about the diverse variety of the classic Spanish dishes offered here, including the aromatic Gambas al Ajillo (Spanish-style garlic shrimp), the very appetizing tortilla with chorizo, seafood paella with a luscious serving of shrimps, squids and clams, truffle scented risotto with fresh porcini mushrooms. Enjoy a sweet finale to your meal with a dessert, both visually and gastronomically appealing, such as ice cream pie, strawberry mousse cake and rice pudding.

With an international fame as Spain’s national beverage, sangria is something one should not miss when dining at a Spanish restaurant. This wine-based and fruit-filled beverage together with other drinks and beers provided by PS TAPAS will make an unforgettable night for restaurant goers.
