Ching-Kuo Chi-Hai Cultural Park is located in the Zhongshan District of Taipei City and serves as a site rich in history and culture. Established by the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange and the Chiayi Faith and Love Foundation, the park covers a total area of 3.98 hectares, featuring spacious green spaces and waterfront walkways that provide visitors with a relaxing environment perfect for leisurely strolls and unwinding. This oasis in the city is not only filled with lush plants but also includes areas designed for family activities.

Historically, the core of the Ching-Kuo Chi-Hai Cultural Park is the Chi-Hai Villa, which was the long-term residence of Chiang Ching-kuo and his wife. The villa has been preserved to this day and is the only residence of Chiang Ching-kuo in Taiwan, reflecting his lifestyle and spirit of simplicity. During Mr. Chiang's tenure as Minister of National Defense, Premier, and President, the villa also served as an official residence, adding to its historical significance.

A highlight of the park is the guided tours of the Chi-Hai Villa. Photography is not permitted during the tour, and visitors are required to wear shoe covers upon entry. Professional guides provide detailed explanations of Mr. Chiang's life and history, offering visitors a deeper understanding of this political figure's character. Additionally, there are two exhibition halls within the park that showcase Mr. Chiang's life accomplishments, artistic works, and diaries, allowing people to feel the weight of history through these artifacts.

In terms of dining, Ching-Kuo Chi-Hai Cultural Park hosts two restaurants, among which the "Sailing" restaurant is particularly popular. It not only offers delicious meals but also allows diners to enjoy the beautiful view of the Grand Hotel while eating, making it a popular spot for many visitors taking photos. After exploring the historical and cultural sites, savoring delightful cuisine along with stunning scenery undoubtedly makes for a pleasant experience.
