It is hard to find a real-local traditional breakfast in Taipei City, but city people know how to play some nice tricks on these Taiwanese morning meals. This bus-like breakfast shop around Bihu Park is getting famed for its modified danbing (蛋餅, Taiwanese omelet). Regardless the weather, crowds always come over and wait outside at holiday mornings. Apart from the featuring bus shell on the entrance, the interior is decorated with foreign car plates, surfing board, dolls, clocks, etc. as well – and do not be surprised by their Yamaha motor oil can putting on table as a chopsticks’ container (of course, they have cleaned it up at the first place, we suppose). The indoor space is rather tiny, so going with luggage is not recommended. Moreover, shop owner strongly dislikes photo-taking in his/her shop, so be considering before you are going to do so. Their specialty: danbing is largely different from traditional Taiwanese style. The crispy outside and melty inside are reasons of this shop being top 5 amongst whole Taipei Region.
