1Bite2Go - Xinyi

1Bite2Go currently has two stores in Shilin and Xinyi, as well as its own food van. The brand is the next step in Taipei Ambassador Hotel’s entry into the food industry, and has established the phenomenon of American style sandwich coupled with a relaxing dining atmosphere in Taipei. Stepping into the Xinyi restaurant opposite Taipei 101, your attention will immediately be attracted by single speed bicycles hanging from the ceiling and a wall full of bicycle photography. Behind the bar there are many empty beer bottles turned into decorations, making it easy to imagine that the restaurant is transformed into a bar geared with professional DJ equipment after dinnertime. Although the distance between the tables is not particularly far, the high ceilings of the building give the restaurant a sense of spaciousness, so no one feels crowded or uncomfortable. Looking at the finely printed menus, you can sense the deliciousness of every meal. A breakfast of beef wok and scrambled eggs is a rare delicacy in Taiwan. And French toast with bacon and eggs drizzled with sweet honey gives energy to those who indulge in it.

If you use the price level of Taipei to compare it, there is no doubt that one brunch costing TWD400 is relatively high. But remember that here you can sit next to the large ceiling windows, appreciating the view of Taipei 101 only one block away. Remember too that here you can avoid the jostling crowds that queue for seats in most other restaurants, and that you don’t need to quickly leave the restaurant after finishing your meal. If you remember all this, 1Bite2Go doesn’t seem so expensive after all.
