As a branded restaurant owning two branches in Taipei, 1885 Burger Store started up from Civic Boulevard. In the past, alongside this road was full of different styles of restaurants, from cha chaan teng (茶餐廳, diner in Hong Kong style), hotpot, grilling and stir-fry to latest settlement of American-styled restaurants
1885 Burger Store’s interior design strives to imitate the typical manner of American diners. The neon lamp next to door, indoor sofa chairs and short partitions make the dining experience here as same as in America. The only thing draw us back is the narrow spacing. The restaurant provides more than thirty kinds of burgers, while some of them are relatively special: jam, kimchi, smoked salmon and vegetarian. Additional saucing (pineapple, peanut butter, taco sauce, etc.) could be requested on your order.
It is difficult for a restaurant sustaining in east Taipei solely by serving lunch and dinner, thus 1885 Burger Store provides brunch as well. Customers here can order fried eggs, eggs benedict or even steak in morning. If you get here early enough (i.e. 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in weekends), you can have a 15% off.
