The fourth generation of the founding family is now at the helm, but the classic dan-dan noodles are still seducing diners with the perfect combination of sesame sauce and peanut butter on top. Other quintessential Sichuan dishes such as hot & sour noodles and wontons served in a fragrant ruby red chilli oil are also on the menu. Even though the owner is fond of tradition, she also strives to bring a new look to the highly lauded Sichuan cuisine, and that’s how steamed pork spare ribs with rice flour was born. All the ingredients are marinated for a good long day before they are sent into the steamer for an hour and a half, and walnuts will then be added to bring out a delicious fragrance until it is cooked to perfection.

The décor is a beautiful collection of antiques put together by the owner with such good taste, and the quaint exteriors and interiors of the eatery successfully creates a peaceful ambiance of Jiangnan, allowing diners to experience a tranquil sense of escape while feasting in absolute comfort.
