Just next to Taiwan Popcorn Chicken King (台灣鹽酥雞), the most famous late-night supper in Taipei, a popular food stall called Kaohsiung Oden King is also set at this exit of Dazhi MRT Station. Regardless of its crude appearance, the crowd reveals that there must be some merits in this stall. For oden, fresh ingredient is just the basic, while the broth, which seems to be less important, is the key of taste that allows you to savor its sweetness from every sip. The intestine vermicelli (大腸麵線) here is also genuine and great to eat in cold winter or summer mid-night. The only drawback of the food stall is the seats are set on sidewalk and neighboring driveway. Apart from the potential danger, the fume and dust might get into the soup, so you should consider takeaway for home or hotel instead if you are capable.
