The donut shop coming from Tokyo, Japan disguises itself in the residential area near Nanjing Fuxing MRT Station. From the red gate to the iron windows decorated with circles, the shop has everything prevalent in an old Taipei apartment. With an outdoor umbrella put up in the small courtyard, along with two tables and several brightly-painted folding chairs commonly seen in a school auditorium, the shop looks extremely lively. Push the door into the shop, and you find the interior is kept simple with only a few wooden tables and chairs. Various freshly-baked donuts are exhibited in the bakery display case. In addition to the common chocolate ones, there are also donuts taking on flavors like cinnamon raisin, matcha red bean, pumpkin, roasted tea, even curry. Salaryman working around here visit the shop and purchase a whole bag of donuts to office. If you want to sit down to enjoy the snack leisurely, you have to order at least one cup of coffee or drink. The store also sells a number of creatively designed products, such as backpacks, cups, and notebooks. Since the seats are limited, and the drinks are not as great as the donuts, it's advised to have takeaways. But if you visit on weekdays when the store is not so crowded and the other customers cause little disturbance, the story will be different then.
