Fuhang Breakfast is one of the most famed breakfast shops in Taipei. In weekends, it is impossible to order the breakfast here within an hour. You shall see a long queue in front of Huashan Market at very morning when passing through Shandao Temple in Zhongxiao East Road. Not only the locals, tourists from Hong Kong, Singapore and even Western Countries are all willing to wait this long for the breakfast here. The clean environment, tasty breakfast and convenient location are reasons why this particular breakfast is so welcomed. Massive media exposure and promotion make the place become an attraction must not be missed.
When waiting for an hour, and finally gradually move to second floor, you will see freshly-baked shaobing (燒餅, flatbread) took out from stove, fantuan (飯糰, rice ball) from wooden rice bucket and youtiao (油條, Chinese cruller) rotating in deep fryer. This is an unique view you can only rarely see in Taipei City. The breakfast here may be the best among whole Taipei City. However, if your schedule is too tight to wait this long, we strongly advise you to take the high speed rail to elsewhere southern, to be namely, Taoyuan, Hsinchu and Taichung - every breakfast shop there is way better than here. And the best part is: you can be seated without waiting. You may still stand in line in Taipei while you already finish your breakfast and start your day in Taichung
