Since most people have correlated ‘vegetarian food’ to ‘healthy’, it seems the term is alienated from ‘tasty’ or even ‘foreign cuisine’. This eatery in alley between Taipei Train Station and Zhongshan MRT Station has broken our bias. Most spaghetti we eat in Taiwan are exactly the same in flavor due to identical seasoning and sauce. However, the chef here has to make their own sauce as they are a vegetarian restaurant, resulting a total different taste of spaghetti serving here. The quality of a spaghetti is not only depends on the noodles, but also the cheese, cream and sauce added would also make a clear distinction. Egg Milk Tree undoubtedly reaches the standard of delicacy and the top 3 among its price level. The interior is remodelled from residence thus spacing of indoor and outdoor seats are relatively narrower. While most furnitures are from less-comfortable IKEA, the dining environment is still heart-warming. Apart from hot meal, several kinds of jam are also available for purchase.
