Sanhe Shouda Noodle

Sanhe serves up the Japanese handmade udon noodles that cater to Taiwanese tastes, added with the yucca root, whose health benefits include its ability to stop the buildup of oxygen free radicals, boost your immune system, improve healing rates, optimize digestion, and reduce cholesterol levels; it also brings out the fragrance of the perfectly al dente and wiggly noodles. The broth comes in nine flavors, with four different toppings available to choose from — there are, in total, thirty-six different combinations to please all fussy palates!

The nine broths include dried bonito flakes (Katsuobushi, a relative of the tuna) and kelp (kombu), Sapporo miso, yucca roots and milk, golden pumpkins, Korean kimchi, savory chicken soup, pork broth, spicy Sichuan-style broth, and spicy Thai-style surf & turf broth. The four toppings are beef bacon, tender pan-fried chicken, Matsuzaka pork, and sweet shrimps. If you love the aromatic, rich flavor, we recommend you to go for the combination of Sapporo miso broth and beef bacon. The broth is creamy but not greasy, the beef doesn’t have a dried-up taste and is surprisingly tender inside out; the omelette absorbs the flavor of the rich miso broth, which adds to the complexity of the dish. If you decide to go light, take the dried bonito flake and kelp broth — it’s perfectly flavored and textured. For those who like things really spicy, don’t miss out on their special spicy sauce, which will add a different twist to your bowl of noodles.
