Four Residence

If not for the distinctive aroma of coffee drifting out from the inside, you would be forgiven for thinking Four Residence was a family home. A hidden cafe on Xidun Road’s Lane 480, the small signboard outside is not at all obvious, making it very easy to miss. As this cafe is constructed in what used to be an old house, the white tiles featured outside harp back to a previous generation. Four Residence offers indoor and outdoor seating, meaning that you can decide where you want to sit based on the prevailing weather conditions. The store uses much old furniture, such as a retro style table lamp, a typewriter and movie posters, giving customers the illusion that they have gone back fifty years in time. As for food and drinks, a diverse selection of beverages, with single origin coffee, summer smoothies and freshly squeezed fruit juice or chocolate milkshakes, can meet any needs. There are also food options of pasta, muffins, sandwiches and other light foods, so you will not get hungry while you read or chat with friends here. If you are planning on meeting a bigger group of people at Four Residence, make sure you let the owner know first so he can reserve seats for you. Best of all, don’t miss the real drawcard of this place - the numerous board games on offer for guests to play at their own leisure!
