Wuri Brewery

The famous Taiwan Beer established many breweries around Taiwan. Although the one in Wuri is just a factory and not much for show, it began brewing from 1968. There is a small exhibition room showing the making process of beer and different beers around the world. You can also apply for personal tour on 10:00 and 14:00. After the HSR Taichung station was built, it attracted more and more people to the factory and different shops and restaurants gradually formed a ‘Beer Village’ around the factory. There are many restaurants opening at nighttime providing all kinds of Chinese cuisine. And, of course, they sell Taiwan Beer. It’s a perfect match! Wuri Brewery also made the renowned Golden Metal Taiwan Beer, which won several prizes in international competitions. Another thing you should never miss is to taste the refreshing 18-day Beer! So, if you come the Taichung HSR station much earlier than the time of your train ride, please take a cab to visit the Wuri Brewery!
