The Old Mountain Line Rail Bike offers three distinct routes, each with different starting points and scenic highlights:

  • Terminals: Shengxing Station to the Southern Secret Section of Longteng Broken Bridge (Round trip).
  • Highlights: Starting from Shengxing Station (the highest point of the Old Mountain Line), riders will see the northern section of the Longteng Broken Bridge, cross the Yutengping Viaduct, and disembark for a guided tour at the Southern Secret Section of the Broken Bridge.
  • Best for: Visitors who want a deep dive into the areas surrounding Shengxing Station and the Longteng Broken Bridge.


Route B

  • Terminals: Longteng Station to Shengxing Station (Round trip).
  • Highlights: Departing from Longteng Station and riding toward Shengxing Station, this route lets riders soak in the ambiance of the ancient Hakka mountain town along the way.
  • Best for: Travelers focusing on experiencing the Shengxing Old Street and local Hakka cuisine.


Route C

  • Terminals: Longteng Station to Liyutan Reservoir (Round trip).
  • Highlights: This route crosses the Yutengping Viaduct and passes through a series of unique light-sculpture tunnels. It culminates at the Neishechuan Railway Bridge, offering views of the Liyutan (Carp Lake) Backwater Weir.
  • Best for: Those seeking a rich visual experience and a spectacular view of the Yutengping Viaduct.
