Mysterious Little Bay

Mysterious Little Bay, located on the east coast of Dongju Island (東莒島), is a hidden beach full of wave-cut gullies. If you look down from the pavilion above, you can see a sea trench between two headlands jutting out into the sea and the magnificent wave-cut terrain nearby. Shadowed by high sea cliffs on both sides, this mysterious little bay has the atmosphere of a hidden paradise, and has become a natural haven over the years. Many caves here were once used by local residents to hide from pirates, but today are home to many kinds of seagulls. If you are in good physical shape, walking on this high headland is a great way to enjoy the beautiful view of Dongju Island from a different perspective.
