While in Hualien, never miss out on this quaint establishment serving fine tea and offering an opportunity for all visitors to travel back in time and run into passionate poets from thousands years ago.
Located near the train station, Wang’s Tea House takes you on a culinary and cultural journey through its nostalgic setting inside out. With the interesting texture of the tapioca bubbles or “boba” that are soft on the outside and chewy on the inside, the pearl milk tea here is not to be missed. Besides tea beverages, light refreshments are also available, from bread to salad and soups. If you want something more filling, there is a wide variety of menu items to choose from, including deep-fried dishes, combo meals, noodles, flaky flatbreads, dim sum, and many more. Even though some say that Wang’s Tea House is like Hualien’s version of the iconic Chun Shui Tang, we believe it is a bit exaggerated as Wang’s quality in both food and service is still to be improved. Save your money for a better tea experience in Taichung or Taipei. You can thank us later.
