Scuba Diving Lesson

Attraction stories

Even though Taiwan is an island surrounded by the ocean on four sides, local people are often discouraged to participate in water activities such as surfing and scuba diving due to traditional conservative beliefs on supernatural beings, especially the water spirits. Some years ago, people started to figure out that water is not scary at all and that scuba diving is one of the most rewarding experiences one can ever have. Some of the popular scuba diving spots include Kenting, East Coast, Green Island, Lanyu, and many more!

And what makes them so different from other diving locations in the world? Taiwan's diverse marine ecology is a wonder to behold, and divers get to see a huge number of endemic coral reefs. The local scuba diving lesson is not expensive at all, making it accessible to all enthusiasts. A four-day PADI dive course is available to those who are interested. Our local supplier "Peace Diving Travel & Adventure (和平潛水/冒險旅遊學校)" is the most experienced in Hualien. Those who have their PADI Open Water Diver qualification can dive pretty much anywhere in the world.

If you are a beginner and don’t really need a license, try the one-day scuba diving lesson at Shitiping and East Coast. Our professional coach will guide you step by step to explore the fascinating underwater wonderland!
