Lavender flowers only bloom between November and April. Even when they are not in season, there are still many other beautiful flowers, butterflies and nice reptiles to see in this quaint farm nestled in the midst of scenic mountains and lush greenery of Hsinchu. At most time of the year, Lavender Cottage is shrouded in a mist of magic, and a stroll through the misty cloud forest makes one feel like bumping into an oasis hidden deep in the mountains.

Beipu Lei Cha is a traditional drink originating from Beipu Township in Taiwan's Hakka region, rich in cultural significance.
