Cheway Hot Pot

At Cheway Hot Pot, everything in the regular menu is ordered à la carte with a variety of options available for many items. A visual delight, each hot pot is filled with a steaming aromatic broth that is decorated with an assortment of fresh ingredients and can be served as a large, medium or small portion to satisfy different appetites. The congealed duck blood is probably the reason why this restaurant is such a hit: the texture is smooth and silky, and the taste is surprisingly mild.

The acclaimed Yuanyang pot has two different stocks side-by-side: one fiery in chilli heat and one milder with cooling goji berries and jujube dates. The milder broth is prepared from the freshest ingredients with the secret recipe featuring milk, pork bones as well as 26 different herbs and spices. For the fiery one, they have three different levels of spiciness in the soup base for you to choose the one that your palate can handle. You will be so spoiled for choice as there is a wide selection of delicately sliced marbled meats, braised gelatinous tendons and chewy pig intestines, and handmade pastes for you to simmer and enjoy. To complement your meal, they also offer the sweet-and-sour plum juice to help you go light after a sumptuous feast.
