The Jiaobanshan Residence, located in the Fuxing District of Taoyuan City, is a popular destination that blends history with natural beauty. The surrounding environment is stunning, and during the plum blossom season, the expansive plum orchard attracts countless visitors who come to marvel at its beauty. Here, guests can enjoy the enchanting sight of the blooming flowers, bring along picnic snacks, and relax in nature. The ecological landscape pond and the lakeside walking path within the park also provide a comfortable setting for leisurely strolls, allowing visitors to experience the charm of the great outdoors.

In addition to its natural beauty, the artistic atmosphere of the Jiaobanshan Residence is equally captivating. The park features a sculpture park that showcases works by various international artists, allowing visitors to appreciate these creative installations and sculptures at any time during their visit, experiencing the fusion of culture and art. Through these artworks, guests enjoy a visual feast, where both adults and children can find their own enjoyment.

One of the most distinctive features of the Jiaobanshan Residence is its military tunnel, built in 1963, which spans 100 meters and includes 3D murals that recreate military scenes from the 1950s, offering visitors a unique historical experience. Originally designed to protect the country’s leaders, this tunnel has now become a refreshing tourist attraction that showcases the unique aspects of that era.

The establishment of the Jiaobanshan Residence began in 1960, originally intended to replace the Jiaobanshan Guesthouse. Due to its prime location, it has become a favorite destination for domestic tourists, particularly on weekends and holidays when families enjoy visiting. The residence displays precious artifacts such as personal photographs and paintings of Chiang Kai-shek and his wife, Soong Mei-ling, which bridge the gap between history and reality.

Entry to the Jiaobanshan Residence is free, making it a convenient spot for families who love nature and history. The gentle colors of the sky bridge within the park make for picturesque photographs, and the coffee break area provides visitors with a place to rest during their busy schedules. The Jiaobanshan Residence offers not just sightseeing, but also a journey for the soul.
