Yuchang Highway (Provincial Highway 30) was contructed since 1996 to 2007, connecting Yuli (East Rift Valley) to Changbin (East Coast), hense its name. It took nearly ten years to complete the road construction. The most difficult part is the Yuchang Tunnel, it is 2.6 kilometers long and go through the Coastal Mountain Range, making the shortest and fastest way from East Rift Valley to East Coast.
When riding on the Yuchang Highway, one interesting thing is the weather difference before and after the tunnel. Sometimes the sunny day turns into cloudy or even rainy day after passing a tunnel.
There are many spots near the two end of Yuchang Highway such as Sanxiantai, Chenggong, Baxiandon (East Coast) and Walami, Liushidan Mountain and Antong Hot Spring (East Rift Valley).
