1F., No.199, Guanhai Rd., Tamsui Dist., New Taipei City 251, Taiwan (R.O.C.)
Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf (淡水漁人碼頭) is located at the western tip of Tamsui District, New Taipei City. Its predecessor was Tamsui Second Fishing Port and was once an important fishing port in the early days of Northern Taiwan. However, due to heavy sedimentation and increasing convenience of land transportation, the port fell into disuse.
Since the Lover's Bridge (情人橋) was completed in 2003, more and more people come to enjoy the beautiful sunset, gorgeous night view, and fresh seafood. The 300+ meter long wooden boardwalk offers convenient access to the floating piers and spacious park, providing visitors the perfect seaside escape.
Like many Pacific Ocean ports, this area frequently experiences rainshowers and windy conditions. Please take extra care as weather can change rapidly and the boardwalk may become slippery when wet.
