Ruili Image Cafe

Perched on the mountainside of Alishan, the village of Ruili is much less hectic and crowded than any other scenic areas in Alishan, allowing visitors to appreciate the sublime beauty of Alishan in the most tranquil setting possible. However, it is not easy to find a proper place in the area to feed your hungry tummy. No worries though, you can always have a cup of coffee, enjoy a coffee-inspired meal or even stay the night at Ruili Image Cafe. With easy access to many attractions such as Yuntan Waterfall, 1000-Year Bat Cave and Swallow Cliff, Ruili Image Cafe will make a great base for traveling around Alishan.

There is nothing fancy about the suites, but they are clean, comfortable and well-equipped. You can have your meal in the half-covered courtyard. For afternoon tea time, home-roasted coffee, herbal tea and preserved fruits will be served. The coffee-inspired meals are only available on the dinner menu. The one-of-a-kind coffee chicken soup is surprisingly light and refreshing, and the coffee tofu with plum sauce is a pleasant combination that will have your taste buds singing. Even though you are not planning to stay the night at Ruili Image Cafe, they still welcome all visitors to drop in for a coffee, tea or meal.
