Hanshini

Hidden in the mountains, Hanshini is a private-owned woodland attraction. The owner of Hanshini mixes four elements in one place, where visitors can see nature's beauty, the aura surrounding the mountains, the images of Taoism, and Japanese buildings. Walking through a wooden entrance gate, a cherry forest, a Bagua formation, and finally stepping on a footbridge to arrive at a Tai Chi pavilion, visitors find their mood unconsciously moved by the serene and tranquil atmosphere in a quiet stroll on weekdays, the time when only a few people visit Hanshini. As they walk slower, their moods become more peaceful. When reaching the highest point and looking around, visitors get a vast and generous feeling as they see the mountains lying under their feet. Dining in the Japanese architecture in a bamboo forest, sitting in the outdoor area, and watching thin clouds lingering in the woods, these experiences make Hanshini resemble a wonderland. It’s a secluded feeling that cannot be acquired in the bustling city. Though Hanshini is quite far from Alishan, and it's almost a one-hour drive from the nearest attraction Fenqihu, it would be a pity to miss out the place if you stay more than one day in Chiayi and Alishan.
