Taipei - Local food tasting market tour with cooking class and culture exchange

It's a 100% local and fun food experiences!! The Chef/instructor will show you the morning market (the market is partially closed on Monday.); we will let you try some of the traditional market food and drinks, such as Chinese Herbal Tea (Grass Jelly, Star Fruit tea…), Pig Blood Cake braised in sweet soy sauce, hand-made fish balls etc… If we have enough time, on the way back to the studio, you will also visit a local supermarket and Taiwanese traditional snacks shop. Usually, the whole market tour takes just over one hour. Back to the studio, you will be learning three dishes that you have chosen and it is suitable for students with any level of experience. The cooking session is divided into two parts. You will be sitting down and enjoy the dishes with our chef after each part (cultural exchange). The Chef will also give you some advice on must-see bars places in Taipei. The class usually finishes just after 2 o'clock in the afternoon. We will prepare everything you need for the class! Cancellation Policy

Severe weather conditions or cancellation made by customer more than 72 hours before departure will qualify for a 100% refund. Otherwise, no refund will be issued.

Overtime Extra Charge

Optional : If you wish to extend your tour, every extra hour over the agreed schedule of a private tour is charged TWD500 (US$17) for a sedan-based or van-based tour, or TWD1000 (US$34) for a bus-based tour. There will be no overtime extra charge for a shared tour.
