Wanlitong

Located in the Hengchun Township of Pingtung, Wanlitong was a local secret before the blockbuster Cape No. 7 hit theaters in 2008. This small fishing village offers a magnificent view of the blue ocean and the starry sky. It is also a paradise for snorkeling lovers but way less crowded than Nanwan or Xiaowan. The diverse landscapes down below allow the snorkelers to explore the magnificent underwater world among coral reefs, tropical marine life, deep trenches and even rifts.

A 25-minute drive away from the bustling Kenting Night Market, Wanlitong will also get you away from all the noise and hassle of the hectic crowds. When the night falls, a leisurely stroll on the walkway along the coast will help melt your stresses and strains away. As there is no light pollution, it is also a perfect spot for some romantic stargazing when the sky is clear enough.
