Mr. Goose

Ask anyone who had tried Mr. Goose and they’ll tell you that this is a restaurant that takes your dining experience to a whole new level with its carefully picked geese and unmatchable exclusive dipping.

In order to ensure that customers receive the best quality food, the geese used here feed on grass and seeds and won’t be ready for harvest until they reach appropriate ages. Two parts of geese are available for diners to choose from: the front (lean) and the back (fatty). For those who don’t like bones in your mouth, you’d better to take the lean meat as it is very soft and tender. The dipping mixed with soy sauce, basil and goose fat will bring out more of the flavor of the meat. The limited braised duck gizzards are another favorite of many — grab some more before they are gone. Items on the menu also include side dishes, stir-fries, noodles and rice. For the noodles without soup, a spoonful of tasty minced pork and a bit of goose soup will be topped on the bowl, which makes it hard to resist.

However, as it has grown with popularity, the portion and quality are starting to deteriorate. Plus, the rather shabby dining environment might stagger most international diners.
