No.259, Zhongzheng Rd., Tamsui Dist., New Taipei City 251, Taiwan (R.O.C.)

Once called Huwei Port, Tamsui Customs Wharf was once the most important commercial port in Taiwan. Along with its location in front of Fort San Domingo, the wharf occupies a critical strategic position. However, because the estuary keeps silting up, and Dadaocheng (大稻埕) and Keelung Port has replaced Tamsui in ocean shipment, Tamsui Customs Wharf has no real functions now. After a renovation, it is now open to the general public, yet the warehouse does not have much to look at, and the outdoor market has nothing new. The only function the wharf still provides may be the view of sunset at the river bank.
